· Myrtle Beach SC is a great place to go out with your metal detector. There are miles and miles of beaches and plenty of treasure to be found on the beaches. Myrtle Beach has over 14 million visitors per year which means there are a lot of lost items to be found on the beaches. Metal detecting is legal on all of the beaches but most of the cities do not allow you to use a metal detector on city property which includes parks. If you are unsure then don't or go to the website for that particular city.
· Metal detecting is a great way to exercise or just pass the time while everyone else is lying on the beach, shopping or whatever. Personally, I don't lie in the sun anymore but I do enjoy going to the beach, so while my wife and son enjoy the sun and surf I pass the time by walking the beach and looking for my next find.
